EI: Courses - Bouncing Back - Emotional resilience under pressure
Bouncing Back: Emotional resilience under pressure
Overview
How well does your team or organisation perform under pressure? Do people crumble, grumble or feel overwhelmed? Maybe they get tense and irritated with each other, or take stress leave or sickies, or slow down, make errors and become exhausted, distracted or cynical.
Don't let this happen. When the pressure mounts make sure your team have the skills to stay resilient, to bounce back from setbacks, and to stay at ease, be effective and thrive.
"Bouncing back" will help your group learn how to stay motivated, positive and relaxed in a negative world, so that they flourish, meet their priorities and still achieve their goals.
Pressure cannot be avoided, crumpling under pressure can. Harness emotional energy, beat stress and stay productive even in tough times. Keep on bouncing back.
This programme covers mainly EI dimension five: "Emotional self-management" on the Genos emotional intelligence model.

Meet your presenter:
Rachel Green, is an award-winning communication specialist and emotional intelligence coach, who has qualifications in psychology, adult education, the Feldenkrais method and speech pathology. She is also an accredited user of two emotional intelligence assessments, the Genos and the MSCEIT and the author of 20 CDs, a DVD and numerous books.
She has a passion for being emotionally resilient and has had plenty of experience developing her own. At one stage she was handling a high workload in her busy business, dealing with difficulties within her family life, running a large community organisation as a voluntary CEO, and managing a property. She worked out how to meet all her priorities, still stay sane, be nice to nearly everyone, and bounce back from any setbacks.
She also has handled difficult calls on a crisis line, been on committees, spent ten years under pressure in academia, coped with serious illness, felt overwhelmed, hit the GFC, AND bounced back. She will teach you how to do the same.
She has delivered her emotional resilence programme to leading organisations including the Australian Defence Force, Silver Chain, Murdoch University Women in Leadership, Minter Ellison, Department of Environment, City of Bunbury, and more.

What attendees have said
"Thank you for last Thursday. I cannot remember the last time I attended a workshop without drifting off somewhere else. And taking the notes I did, I have never written as much, and I retain so much more info when I write it down. I have been more aware lately that it was time to take a look at myself and what I was doing, and the workshop came at the most opportune time. I have shared so much of it with my partner and daughters."
Annette Connolly, Murdoch University Women in Leadership Programme.
