Coaching - Job Interview Coaching

Picture 3 Job interviews are challenging. People can be left feeling nervous, going blank, or talking without making a point. However, with expert job interview coaching and training you can learn how to answer job interview questions confidently and convincingly.

Would you like to be able to differentiate yourself from the other applicants? Would you like to convey your strengths and explain your experiences in a way that maximise your interview opportunities? You can.

By receiving powerful and personalised job interview coaching with communication expert Rachel Green, you can move your job interview skills to an even higher level so that you can be your absolute best in the job interviews that matter most to you. Nail that job!

It's a rare opportunity for you to have access to a top job interviews coach wherever you are in Australia, and to excel.

Many key people have already benefitted from Rachel's job interview coaching, in positions such as medical practice, law, aviation, taxation, geoscience, academia, education, the public sector, and more. Now it is your turn.

No-one else need ever know you're receiving personalised job interview coaching but the results will be obvious to you.

"Just thought I would let you know that I was successful in getting the position of Director. I am sure that the job interview coaching session I had with you contributed greatly towards my being successful, so thank you very much!"
Marnie Leybourne, Director, WA Land Information System Office, (WALIS).

Rachel, Your "10 Strengths" angle was fantastic. Wow! What a transformation. I can tell you, by the time I walked into that interview my clarity was 20:20 and my self-confidence was unshakeable. I absolutely KNEW how capable I was. By the time I walked out, the panel knew it too. And yes, I got the job!!!! Thanks a million.
Michael Edward Done.

Why receive coaching for a job interview?

Picture 6 Our typical clients are intelligent and professional. They expect to get a job interview for a high-level position that they really want. They are, however, at risk of missing out on the job because they don't know the best way to promote themselves at the job interview.

They may also be nervous of answering the interview questions or intimidated by the interview panel.

Many of our job interview coaching clients are already skilled but want to know how to be their very best whatever the interview questions they are asked. Is this you?

If so, Rachel has a proven track record of turning hopeful job applicants into successful ones. She can bring out your strengths so you can succeed in handling job interview questions and answers and be promoted.

Here are some of the areas you can cover in your job interview coaching session to help you win that position.

How to:

o

Prepare properly for your job interview questions so that you won't go blank.

o

Answer interview questions with confidence and conviction.

o

Know how much to say and when you've said enough.

o

Take control of the job interview.

o

Include all your important information whether or not you are asked the right interview questions.

o

Convince the interview panel or job interviewer of your value and strengths.

o

Apply your existing skills and strengths to the new position.

o

Select the aspects of your experience that will make you stand out from the other applicants.

o

Anticipate the interview questions.

o

Practise your answers to relevant job interview questions.

o

Overcome your job interview nerves.

o

Say what you are good at.

o

Differentiate yourself from the opposition even if you don't know who they are.

o

Include all the keywords they will be looking for.

o

Convince them that you DO meet all the essential selection criteria.

o

Produce valid evidence of your skills.

o

Select examples that are both convincing and compelling, and at the right level.

o

Persuade the interview panel that you meet all the desirable selection criteria.

o

Manage a lack of, or negative, feedback from the interview panel.

o

Use the right body language.

o

Set yourself above the rest.

o

Choose pertinent and impressive questions to ask your interview panel.

o

Sell yourself without feeling uncomfortable about bragging.

o

Be your best.

Here's a video showing Rachel giving job interview hints on selling your strengths.

Job interview coaching features:

o

Most people only require a single 2 hr session.

o

Sessions are usually centred on a specific job interview.

o

The session is very practical with rehearsals of job interview questions and answers.

o

You will receive immediate and valuable feedback on your answers.

o

You will gain world class job interview tips that will help differentiate you from your competitors.

o

Once you have made an appointment please send Rachel the details of the job you are applying for, including the essential and desirable selection criteria, and your application and CV/resume.

o

After the session you will be sent a handout covering many of the main points raised.

o

While it can seem a lot of money at the time, in comparison to the pay increase associated with a promotion it can be very little.

o

This job interview coaching can be conducted with you, wherever you are in Australia: Brisbane, Perth, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, Canberra, Darwin, or anywhere else.

What others say about this job interview coaching

"Rachel, Thank you for our 1-1 job interview coaching session. My second interview went well and the panel chose me as their preferred candidate and I start my new job next week. You make a huge difference to so many lives, for the better."
Tessa Barkman, Project Officer, WA Police Force.

This is what a medical practitioner in NSW said after a 2 hr coaching session over the phone:
"I didn't know I could sound so good. I've never been good at job interviews but you got my best out of me. I am so much more confident. I now know what to say and how to explain why I would be the best candidate for this position. I could not do this before. Thank you so much, I am amazed at the change in me." (Full name withheld for privacy reasons.)

"I am so excited to say that I have won the position that I so desperately wanted. The job interview training that I received from you was exactly what I needed, it all made perfect sense and it obviously paid off. I know I wouldn't have won the position without working with you.
Jan Whisson, School Principal, Meckering Primary School.

NB: Please know that most people I successfully coach do not want to go public on their coaching, for obvious reasons. This is why I have included only three testimonials even though I have coached many more people in between who have also successfully got the jobs they wanted.
